The role offered is Assistant General Manager, an essential leadership position crucial to the daily operations and success of the restaurant. Reporting directly to the General Manager and local owner, the Assistant General Manager helps drive operational excellence across front-of-house and back-of-house systems. This role entails coaching, training, and developing assistant managers and team members on food quality, service standards, safety protocols, and company policies. The Assistant General Manager maintains cleanliness, manages staffing schedules, oversees inventories, controls budgets, and addresses guest concerns promptly. Additionally, they assist in hiring and retain highly motivated team members to uphold superior food and service standards.

This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000, complemented by monthly bonuses as part of the compensation package. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Some college preferred
  • Three to five years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience preferred
  • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills required
  • Ability to attract, train, develop and retain top industry team members
  • Strong guest service focus for exceptional dining experiences
  • Ability to meet financial goals for restaurant including sales growth and cost control
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to talk, hear and use hands repetitively

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Knowledge of all dining room and kitchen systems and operation
  • Provides direction, coaching, training and development for assistant managers and all team members including food quality, service standards, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Ensures consistent execution of all systems, standards and cost controls
  • Responsible for establishing and appropriately communicating goals to General Manager and Local Owner on a regular basis
  • Communicates effectively with the guest, team members, management team, local owner, Station 5 team, and vendors
  • Effectively maintains cleanliness of exterior and interior facilities and ensures sufficient supply levels for team members to execute their responsibilities
  • Oversees BOH schedules, effectively maintaining staffing levels, labor goals and guest satisfaction
