Job Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in hospitality
- Previous managerial role experience
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written forms
- Excellent customer service capability
- Friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
- Responsible and independent work ethic
- Ability to learn and use applicable systems such as PMS, OTAs, POS, and Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds
- Onsite work availability at the hotel
- Willingness to cover shifts as needed
- Flexibility to work 45 hours per week including mornings, mids, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in English
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years of hospitality experience
- Previous managerial experience overseeing a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor
- Capable of working independently and responsibly
- Proficiency with PMS, OTAs, POS systems, Microsoft Outlook and related software
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in English language
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of a second language, preferably Spanish or French, is a plus
Job Duties
- Assist General Manager in day-to-day hotel operations while maintaining guest service standards
- Oversee Front Desk, Reservations, Housekeeping and other relevant departments
- Interface with guests daily and resolve concerns promptly
- Collaborate with General Manager and department heads to monitor and adjust performance for profitability
- Coordinate with corporate departments to ensure compliance with accounting and administrative procedures
- Manage human resource functions including HR administration, turnover control, staff motivation, and employee development
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as hotel policies
- Enhance guest experience to exceed expectations
- Develop and maintain knowledge of restaurant operations
