The position of General Manager or Assistant General Manager at Wingstop is a dynamic leadership role focused on delivering strategic and tactical management to restaurants. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ability to adapt to new systems quickly

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
  • proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance
  • demonstrated recruiting and team selection ability

Job Duties

  • Staff the restaurant timely and efficiently with carefully selected team
  • ensure the restaurant environment is safe for team members and guests
  • oversee orientation and onboarding processes
  • write and implement shift leader development and performance plans
  • make final hiring and separation decisions and follow proper procedures
  • create team member schedules considering availability, payroll and overtime
  • own team performance and foster a respectful and rewarding culture
  • audit operations and develop improvement solutions
  • understand budget and cost trends impacting operations
  • create business plans and perform financial analysis
  • control cash, property, product and equipment
  • build sales and control labor and food costs
  • meet operational targets set by leadership
  • maintain operational standards and facility upkeep
  • communicate company updates from district management to team
