As an Assistant Manager at Border Foods, you will be entrusted with the vital responsibility of reinforcing the company’s CORE values while overseeing the overall operation of a restaurant. The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in driving restaurant success by managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting financial management tasks such as profit and loss (P&L) analysis. You will be responsible for staff scheduling, training, and development, creating a team culture that promotes recognition and employee empowerment. This includes resolving employee queries, handling customer complaints with sincerity, and ensuring that the restaurant functions smoothly from opening to close.

Border Foods offers competitive compensation with hourly wages ranging from $14 to $35 per hour, flexible scheduling options, and an attractive bonus program for Assistant General Managers with the potential to earn up to an additional $20,000 annually. This is a non-exempt management role that expects a minimum 50-hour workweek, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
