From cooks and cashiers to restaurant managers, every employee is valued as part of the Border Foods family. The company’s foundation revolves around core values such as Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment, which are actively embedded into every aspect of its operations. These values ensure an inclusive workplace where employees feel supported to learn, evolve, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s mission of improving lives through exceptional dining experiences.

Border Foods stands out in the quick-service restaurant industry not only due to its substantial size and success but also because of its unparalleled commitment to its team’s well-being and development. This dedication is reflected in the range of benefits offered to all employees, including flexible scheduling, competitive pay, bonuses, education programs, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as vacation, sick, and holiday pay. The culture at Border Foods nurtures career growth and fosters a positive, collaborative environment that encourages continual empowerment and recognition.

The Assistant Manager role at Border Foods is a vital leadership position tasked with overseeing the entire restaurant’s operation and building a strong, motivated team that consistently delivers great food and friendly service. This position is centered on reinforcing Border Foods’ core values and ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant’s daily function aligns with these principles. The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for both employees and guests, focused on enhancing life experiences through quality customer service and operational excellence.

This is a high-responsibility management role that involves strategic planning, team development, financial oversight, and maintaining health and safety standards. The successful candidate will lead by example to maintain a motivated workforce, drive sales, manage labor costs, and uphold company policies and local regulations. Their leadership will directly impact the restaurant’s success, employee satisfaction, and guest experiences.

Border Foods offers an exceptional compensation package for this role, with an hourly wage ranging from $14 to $35 per hour, flexible schedules to support work-life balance, and a bonus program where Assistant General Managers have the potential to earn up to an additional $20,000 annually. The company also provides education assistance including GED and tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, and a vacation donation program that encourages a supportive team culture. Furthermore, employees benefit from free meals and a culture that fosters career advancement through continuous coaching and development.

Joining Border Foods as an Assistant Manager means becoming part of a company that values integrity, accountability, and teamwork while empowering individuals to grow their careers in an exciting, dynamic industry.
