Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- associate's degree in hotel/restaurant management or business is a plus
- equivalent experience in hotel management
- minimum of 2 years in a hotel general manager or related management role
- knowledge of hotel management and operations
- effective oral and written communication skills
- good analytical and decision-making ability
Job Duties
- manage daily hotel operations to achieve revenue and profit goals
- provide leadership, training, and support to hotel staff
- conduct market analysis and forecast local market conditions
- support sales efforts as directed
- train front desk staff on promotions and selling techniques
- forecast operating expenses and labor costs for annual budgeting
- schedule labor and control expenses based on business demand
- manage guest services and handle guest complaints personally
- train and develop employees in accordance with HR programs
- maintain physical condition of the hotel and manage maintenance programs
- respond to guest satisfaction surveys and take corrective actions
- administer company policies for human resources and payroll
- conduct wage surveys to ensure competitive wages
