Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel management or a similar role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer service oriented mindset
- Knowledge of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping food and beverage and maintenance
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hotel or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Knowledge of budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
- Familiarity with hotel management software and systems such as PMS and POS
- Strong multitasking organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring all departments function efficiently and meet service standards
- Assist in hiring training and managing staff to ensure a motivated team that delivers an exceptional guest experience
- Handle guest complaints resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards
- Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory requirements including brand standards and company policies
- Collaborate with sales to promote the property and increase occupancy and revenue
- Step into the General Managers role in their absence making critical decisions and ensuring seamless operations
