Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel management or a similar role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Customer service oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping food and beverage and maintenance
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hotel or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Knowledge of budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and systems such as PMS and POS
  • Strong multitasking organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring all departments function efficiently and meet service standards
  • Assist in hiring training and managing staff to ensure a motivated team that delivers an exceptional guest experience
  • Handle guest complaints resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory requirements including brand standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with sales to promote the property and increase occupancy and revenue
  • Step into the General Managers role in their absence making critical decisions and ensuring seamless operations
