The role of an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at WenJAI encompasses vital leadership responsibilities that contribute directly to the success of each restaurant. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication abilities

  • Ability to comply with all relevant laws and regulations

Job Duties

  • Help run a million-dollar business through high energy and high standards
  • Understand the right way to do business and help the team act accordingly
  • Assist with building bench strength by developing successful Crew and Shift Supervisors
  • Maintain a team atmosphere
  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining daily operations and staff
  • Participate in the achievement of store objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Assist in interviewing, recommending, selecting and training Shift Supervisors and Crew Members
  • Participate in creating and maintaining an environment and culture of engaged employees
  • Communicate effectively with the store team, including General Manager, Restaurant Managers, Shift Supervisors and Crew Members
