This establishment boasts 140 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, offering guests a comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of Buffalo. Strategically positioned just off I-190, the hotel is conveniently close to key city attractions including the free downtown train, the NFTA Metro, which is only two blocks away, and major entertainment venues like the KeyBank Center and Canalside, situated only a mile from the property. Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is part of an esteemed network of hotels managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, a respected hotel management company with a portfolio of 50 properties. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, Buffalo Lodging Associates has built a reputation for excellence by partnering with top hotel brands such as Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, Choice Hotel International, and Radisson Hotels. The company's success is deeply rooted in its dedicated team of associates, whose commitment to hospitality, integrity, passion, and inclusiveness has propelled the company to award-winning status.
The role of the Assistant General Manager at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton-Buffalo Downtown is a dynamic position focused on providing strong leadership and support to the hotel's management team. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of service and operational excellence that guests expect from a Hilton-branded hotel and Buffalo Lodging Associates properties. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring that every department from guest services and housekeeping to maintenance, sales, food and beverage, and human resources runs smoothly. The position demands a hands-on leadership style, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment. This role also entails managing front office operations, supervising front desk and food and beverage staff, and resolving guest concerns to maintain exceptional franchise Guest Service scores. In addition to overseeing operations in the General Manager's absence, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for various administrative tasks, including reporting, inventory management, and accounting processes. This position offers a competitive salary range between $62,000 and $73,000 annually, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. Moreover, the company emphasizes employee growth, offering a range of benefits including weekly pay, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401K retirement plan with company matching, travel discounts on branded properties, and ample career growth opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a solid background in hotel management and a passion for hospitality to grow within a thriving hotel management company committed to excellence and associate well-being.
