The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Smoothie King plays a crucial leadership role in store operations and team management to ensure the delivery of an exceptional guest experience, consistent with the brand’s mission and core values. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and involves contributing to all facets of store management, including human resources, operational excellence, customer service, compliance, marketing, and financial management. In this role, the Assistant General Manager utilizes operational tools such as Profit and Loss statements, Daily Business Reviews, Cash and Deposit Logs, and scheduling and inventory management systems to monitor store performance and ensure efficiency. They also collaborate on local marketing plans and community outreach initiatives, aiming to increase brand visibility and deepen engagement with customers. The AGM is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment and ensuring all health and safety standards are strictly followed. Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays
- ServSafe certification

Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle
- Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence
- Assist the General Manager in developing local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events
- Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and partner with the General Manager to address accordingly
- Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times
- ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well
- Champion and embody our culture, mission, and core values
- Ensure and maintain store cleanliness and upkeep, including monthly inspections, systems reviews, and coordinating the update/replacement of damaged equipment or facilities
- Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring teams to meet operational standards
- Communicate all marketing strategies and promotions in the store to the team, ensuring proper execution to drive results
