The Apprenticeship role at Chipotle is tailored for individuals eager to develop and grow into General Managers. Apprentices play a critical role in assisting with daily restaurant operations, including hiring, training, and managing staff while maintaining excellent guest service standards. This position offers a hands-on learning environment to understand all facets of restaurant management, from running day-to-day operations such as scheduling, profit and loss management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing, to ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards.

This role requires a dynamic individual who is guest-obsessed, enthusiastic about people development, and prepared to lead others in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Apprentices will work approximately 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, while engaging in physical activities like standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and tasting and preparing food. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk around the restaurant for 10 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 50lbs/25kgs
  • Ability to work a standard 50-hour workweek, including evening and weekend shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the relevant country
  • Willingness to learn and grow in restaurant management

Job Duties

  • Be guest obsessed - uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
  • Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest experience
  • Train and develop crew members utilizing Chipotle’s training tools and resources
  • Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time
  • Learn to run the day-to-day operational business of your restaurant (creating and managing a schedule, P&L management, sales-forecasting, recruiting and interviewing)
  • Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is always guest-ready
  • Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
