We are currently seeking Restaurant Assistant General Managers (AGM) who possess at least one year of experience in assistant management roles within fast food or restaurant concepts. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a successful, high-volume Wendy’s restaurant. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow, superior customer service, and food quality. This role is not only about managing operational tasks but also about leading and inspiring a diverse team to meet and exceed business goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a clear path for career growth within Wendy's management structure, starting from Assistant General Manager to General Manager, then onto Training General Manager, District Manager, and potentially further advancement. Job Requirements

  • Min 1 year assistant manager experience
  • flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • valid drivers license in good standing and access to private transportation
  • consent to background screening
  • high school diploma or equivalent with all documents required by law
  • able to walk and stand for long periods
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee restaurant’s daily operations
  • maintain day-to-day financial controls
  • create and manage staff schedules
  • interview, hire, train and orientate team
  • oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations
  • exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
  • ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
