Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years supervisory or management experience in a restaurant
- ability to work a 50-hour work week
- ability to work flexible hours
- valid driver’s license
- reliable transportation
- ability to work independently and with discretion
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
- high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree a plus
- leadership skills to supervise, train and motivate personnel
- 2-3 years supervisory or management experience in a restaurant
- familiarity with FOH and BOH/kitchen management
- ability to work independently and with discretion
- strong written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills
- valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Manage restaurant FOH and BOH
- assist the General Manager in leading the restaurant management team
- instruct, train, coach and develop the restaurant team
- assist in recruiting and hiring of hourly employees
- ensure appropriate staffing to maximize customer service and sales
- maximize sales and profits within the restaurant
- responsible for cash controls and enforcement of company policies
- prepare and execute marketing, merchandising, sales and promotional efforts
- assure safety and security procedures are followed
- resolve customer complaints and train team in resolving issues
