As an Assistant Manager at Swig, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth and efficient daily operations of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold Swig's high standards both at the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH), ensuring every moment customers spend with the brand is delightful and memorable. This full-time position offers an hourly wage between $12.00 and $17.00, inclusive of tips, alongside a variety of perks such as discounted drinks and cookies, flexible working hours, paid training, and opportunities for advancement. The role demands a collaborative and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking and communication.

Your leadership will be key in mentoring and developing the staff, fostering a positive workplace ethos where every team member can succeed. You will be the primary point of contact for customer service issues and online review management, actively working to resolve concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Driving sales growth, managing labor costs, and optimizing operational efficiency will also fall under your purview, requiring a keen eye for details from inventory control to staffing schedules. You will ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards to maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. Additionally, the ability to craft quality drinks and prepare food items consistent with Swig’s procedures ensures that product standards are met or exceeded.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • previous restaurant experience is a plus
  • a food handler's permit and reliable transportation
  • regular, predictable attendance and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring Swig's standards are met in both FOH and BOH

  • monitor and optimize operational efficiency, including prep, stocking, and staging
  • adjust staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and manage labor costs
  • assist with weekly reports, inventory management, and operational documentation
  • uphold company values, enforce policies, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
  • complete store checklists, manage deposits, and ensure smooth operations
  • stock, prep, and rotate food, supplies, and chemicals for smooth service
  • craft quality drinks and food by following Swig's procedures
  • communicate clearly with guests and teammates to ensure a smooth, seamless experience
  • assist with to-go and delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service
  • collaborate with your team to meet goals and create a welcoming atmosphere
  • offer add-ons and special menu items, helping customers discover new favorites and enhancing their experience
  • follow all company policies and procedures to uphold our standards and values
  • perform other duties as needed
