Job Duties
- Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies
- Assists general manager and multi-unit manager in supervising day-to-day associate activities within one or more restaurants
- Conducts interviews, makes hiring and promotion decisions, and promotes HMSHost as an employer of choice
- Monitors financial and operational reports to meet unit goals and assigns staff to fulfill objectives
- Ensures compliance with company policies including adult beverage regulations and safety procedures
- Prepares schedules and ensures full coverage of shifts while managing associate breaks
- Oversees cleanliness, stocking, equipment maintenance, cash handling and security, and health and safety activities
