The Assistant General Manager role at Taco Bell is a critical leadership position within the restaurant team, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing company. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining brand standards, ensuring operational excellence, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

This role requires a hands-on leader who inspires and motivates their team by leading through example. You will be responsible for training, coaching, and recognizing team members to help them grow and succeed in their roles. You will be actively engaged in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including maintaining food safety and health standards, overseeing cash control, security procedures, inventory management, and labor optimization to ensure the restaurant’s profitability. Additionally, you will take charge in the absence of the General Manager, making decisions that impact the overall success of the restaurant.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to assess team performance and provide constructive feedback. You will also address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Your participation in recruiting and hiring team members will ensure that high-quality staff are brought into the organization to support ongoing growth and success. Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of restaurant or retail management experience including profit and loss responsibility
  • ServSafe certified
  • Basic business math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable with learning new technology
