The role of Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell is pivotal to driving the restaurant’s daily success. The Assistant General Manager leads by example through coaching, training, and recognizing team members to ensure a positive and efficient work atmosphere. Job Requirements

3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience
Assist with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, labor management, and reviewing financial reports
Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources
Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in the restaurant
Lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation
Identify and recruit exceptional talent supporting the General Manager in the hiring process
Possess strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees
Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards

Job Qualifications

3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
Experience assisting with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, labor management, and reviewing financial reports
Strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees
Ability to lead and inspire teams, promoting collaboration and motivation
Commitment to promoting a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
Proven experience in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring talent
Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards
Ability to work a 50-hour week
Leadership skills to act decisively in the General Manager's absence

Job Duties

Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
Oversee team members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence
Take charge of restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence
Collaborate with the General Manager in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
Address employee relations issues, determine immediate resolutions, or escalate to the General Manager when necessary
Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members while promoting a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
Assist with profit and loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
Support the General Manager in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
