Job Description
Cinepolis USA is a premier luxury cinema exhibitor renowned for its commitment to delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience. Operating under the distinguished brands "Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery," Cinepolis USA offers patrons an elevated entertainment environment that combines state-of-the-art technology, gourmet dining options, and exceptional customer service. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company currently manages 26 luxury and premium theaters spanning key states including California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio, with ambitious plans for continued expansion. As a subsidiary of Cinepolis International, the largest movie theater exhibitor globally, Cinepolis USA benefits from a rich tradition of innovation and a passion for film and hospitality. Their operations emphasize not only entertainment but also community engagement and environmental responsibility, making them a leader in the cinema exhibition industry.
The role offered is a full-time, exempt management position within the theater operations department, reporting directly to the General Manager. The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $66,560 to $97,760 annually, reflecting the responsibility and expertise required. This role is ideal for candidates who possess strong leadership skills and a background in entertainment or food and beverage management. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day theater operations, overseeing hourly and exempt staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality guest experiences that align with Cinepolis’ luxury brand standards.
Responsibilities for this management position include assisting the General Manager in recruitment, staff training, and performance coaching, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and safety protocols. The role demands active involvement in sales maximization strategies, guest service excellence, and operational efficiency — from scheduling through the use of scheduling software HotSchedules to managing food and beverage service including the In-Seat Dining experience. The candidate will partner with multiple departments, including projectionists and regional managers, to ensure seamless film presentation and audit compliance. Flexibility is critical, as the position requires working evenings, weekends, holidays, and potentially up to 50 hours per week during peak seasons.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop professionally within a dynamic, fast-paced luxury cinema environment that values employee contributions as vital to its success. Cinepolis USA fosters a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to be proactive problem-solvers and positive role models. Employees benefit from generous discounts on tickets and concessions, milestone work anniversary rewards, and a supportive, engaging work environment. With a focus on high guest satisfaction and operational excellence, the role is both challenging and rewarding for those passionate about leadership, hospitality, and cinema.
