The role of Assistant General Manager (AGM) at WenJAI Restaurant Group is crucial to the effective leadership and management of each restaurant location. AGMs are integral to providing the direction, training, and expertise that exceed customer expectations while ensuring that every shift meets its business targets. The AGM supports the development of team members by building bench strength and cultivating successful Crew Members and Shift Supervisors. The Assistant General Manager plays a vital role in daily operations, helping the General Manager oversee staff management, uphold company policies, and implement all necessary procedures and systems. The AGM is also deeply involved in recruitment processes, including interviewing, recommending, selecting, and training the restaurant's Crew Members and Shift Supervisors. Compliance with federal, state, and local laws alongside ethical business practices forms another critical aspect of this position. The AGM interacts effectively with the broader store team, including General Managers and other restaurant leaders, fostering a cohesive work environment.

  • Previous leadership experience in a restaurant or similar environment
