The role of Assistant General Manager at Logan's Roadhouse is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall operational excellence of a single restaurant location. This role requires a hands-on manager who can oversee all aspects of the restaurant's performance, including sales growth, profit and loss management, financial forecasting, staffing, training, and daily execution of safety and sanitation standards. The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with company policies as well as state and federal regulations concerning food safety, alcohol service, and workplace safety.
The position demands a leader who can foster a positive work environment by motivating and developing both management and hourly team members. They are responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent guest service, and a clean and well-maintained facility. The Assistant General Manager also works closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries and manage inventory properly. This role requires exceptional communication skills to effectively handle guest complaints, conduct staff meetings, and maintain professional community relationships.
In addition, the Assistant General Manager is entrusted with administrative duties such as ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing labor costs, and supporting marketing initiatives aimed at increasing guest traffic. They are expected to model hospitality behaviors by conducting regular table visits and provide coaching and disciplinary guidance when necessary to team members.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- College degree preferred or equivalent in experience
- Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be energetic and flexible
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills
- Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
- Minimum two years restaurant management experience required

Job Duties
- Model hospitality skills/behaviors by conducting 100 percent table visits of guests in the restaurant
- Effectively handle guest complaints
- Assist marketing techniques and research to attract new guests
- Build positive, professional relationships with members of the community
- Assist with all staffing needs to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
- Plan and lead shift meetings and solicit feedback from team members
- Provide performance feedback including coaching and progressive discipline, development goals, and recognition to hourly team members on an ongoing and timely basis
