The Assistant General Manager role at Wendy's plays a crucial part in supporting the General Manager to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Company operating systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of Company policies and procedures related to job responsibilities
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices
  • Knowledge of crew orientation and training programs
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
  • One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak before groups
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in multiple forms
  • Must attend Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • Must be Serve-Safe Certified

Job Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Must be Serve-Safe Certified
  • Must attend Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in managing the operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant
  • Execute all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • Participate in the achievement of store objectives while following all Company guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Oversee crew orientation and training programs
  • Monitor and manage restaurant performance metrics
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
