Founded in 1962, Taco Bell has grown to become one of the fastest-growing and most popular quick-service restaurants worldwide. With a strong emphasis on innovation, inclusivity, and community involvement, Taco Bell not only provides flavorful meals but also fosters a vibrant workplace culture where employees can thrive and grow professionally. The company values creativity, teamwork, and excellence, making it a leader in the fast-food industry.
The Assistant General Manager role at Taco Bell is pivotal to the restaurant’s ongoing success and daily operations. This position supports the Restaurant General Manager by ensuring that brand standards are consistently met and that the team operates smoothly and cohesively. As an Assistant General Manager, you will take ownership of the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager, managing crucial operational decisions and driving the team to achieve excellence in customer service and efficiency. This role demands a dynamic leader who can inspire, train, coach, and recognize team members to create an unforgettable dining experience for customers. Working approximately 50 hours a week, you will be deeply involved in all aspects of restaurant management, from recruitment and training to financial oversight and maintaining health and safety standards. Taco Bell emphasizes a fun and challenging work environment where personal growth and team success go hand in hand.
In this role, you will be responsible for upholding high food safety standards while ensuring that every customer interaction prioritizes satisfaction through effective execution of the MIC (Make It Count) Success Routine. Collaboration with the General Manager is key, particularly in assessing team performance, addressing employee issues, and supporting hiring efforts that foster a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Financial acumen is also essential, as you will assist in Profit & Loss management by monitoring cash control procedures, security, inventory, and labor. Additionally, your responsibilities will include reviewing financial reports to optimize restaurant performance and supporting facility maintenance to guarantee a safe and compliant environment. This comprehensive position offers competitive pay ranging from $40,000 to $58,000 annually depending on location and experience, along with bonus potential, paid time off, medical benefits from day one, and opportunities for career advancement and education. The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell truly acts like an owner, leading with passion and dedication to drive the restaurant’s success while embracing the company’s mission and values.
