The Finch is a stylish staple for every taste, providing an oasis of culinary craft and casual sophistication that suits both relaxed encounters and formal engagements. At its core, The Finch prides itself on being a place of gathering, aptly named after a flock of finches, which are famously referred to as a "charm." This welcoming environment and dedication to quality make it a vibrant and attractive location for both diners and those seeking employment within an exciting and dynamic hospitality setting.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Restaurant General Manager (AGM) to join our dedicated team. This role is integral to the restaurant's successful operation as it involves working closely with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day management of the venue. The AGM supports various operational aspects including staff management, upholding exceptional food and beverage standards, and maintaining top-notch cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant. Beyond operational duties, the AGM plays a key role in fostering a positive culture among staff, assisting with recruitment, training, and development initiatives.
This position affords the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning aimed at maximizing profitability and enhancing guest satisfaction. Responsibilities range from overseeing opening and closing shifts to managing costs, driving sales, and responding promptly to guest and employee feedback. The AGM is also instrumental in inventory control and supply chain management, ensuring seamless operations that uphold the high standards The Finch is known for. The successful candidate will bring at least five years of restaurant management experience, including more than two years as an AGM in a full-service restaurant environment. Experience with back-of-house systems, inventory management, and staff leadership is essential.
The Finch cultivates a supportive and vibrant work environment with benefits such as health insurance and a relaxed dress code, promoting both professionalism and comfort. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to play a pivotal role within a modern dining concept that values great taste and great company, this role provides an excellent platform for career growth and personal development in the restaurant industry.
