Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • State or County mandated Food Handler Card required within allotted time
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Must pass background check
  • Ability to work 50-hour work week including weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • 1-3 years entry-level leadership or management experience in restaurant or customer service
  • Proven track record of leadership competencies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to speak, understand, read and write English
  • Ability to communicate and teach job functions
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of entry-level leadership or management experience in restaurant or customer service
  • Proven leadership competencies as outlined in the company management model
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including writing, speaking and listening
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to teach and communicate job functions to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic business goals including profitability
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Manage costs and budgets including labor and food and beverage expenses
  • Participate in the selection, onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members
  • Provide ongoing training and development for existing staff
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality food and service standards
  • Perform record keeping, ordering, inventory, cash management, and team deployment
  • Maintain a positive and professional image in the restaurant and community
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements including health and safety
  • Follow scheduled work hours and adjust as approved by General Manager
  • Accept and process payments accurately according to cash handling policies
  • Perform opening and closing duties adhering to security procedures
  • Ensure food safety standards are met and corrective actions are implemented
  • Provide a safe working environment and safeguard restaurant assets
  • Notify supervisors of accidents or injuries and report unsafe conditions
