The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Food & Beverage Outlet Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of service that Four Seasons is known for. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel. This includes ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, managing staff effectively, and upholding the cultural and operational standards of the property. The position requires a hands-on leadership style, with visibility on the floor, a proactive approach to training and coaching, and the ability to handle guest concerns and special requests thoughtfully.

In this role, the Assistant Food & Beverage Outlet Manager will oversee multiple outlets, balancing operational duties with team development. The candidate will be expected to apply knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor management, and inventory processes to optimize outlet performance and profitability. Moreover, the manager will contribute to maintenance and improvement efforts, collaborate across departments for seamless service delivery, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. This opportunity offers an annual salary range of $80,000 to $81,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management
  • one year of leadership experience in food and beverage
  • leadership oversight of multiple outlets and departments
  • working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and procedures
  • knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage systems including MICROS, Microsoft Office, OpenTable, labor management and payroll systems

Job Duties

  • Support all food and beverage outlets of the hotel in the day-to-day operations
  • select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees as necessary
  • ensure established cultural and core standards are met
  • plan daily activities and outlet operations
  • be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints or special requests
  • describe and ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits
  • control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory and cash control
  • attend regular operational meetings to ensure coordination and cooperation between departments
  • observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend improvements
  • comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
