Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
three years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related area
OR two-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
one year experience in food and beverage, culinary or related area
availability to work full time
strong leadership skills
excellent communication abilities
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
knowledge of food and beverage operations
commitment to customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures
supports and supervises monthly self-inspection program
operates department equipment as necessary and reports malfunction
supervises staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives
encourages and builds mutual trust and cooperation among team members
develops goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work
communicates areas needing attention to staff and ensures understanding
coordinates cleaning program in all food and beverage areas
follows property specific second effort and recovery plan
stays available and approachable for all team members
demonstrates knowledge of brand specific service culture
provides services beyond customer expectations for satisfaction and retention
serves as a role model for appropriate behavior
manages daily operations ensuring quality and standards
takes proactive approaches to guest concerns
sets positive examples for guest relations
