The Food & Beverage Manager role at SHACK15 is a dynamic, hands-on leadership position at the heart of the club's daily F&B operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of one of San Francisco's most exciting and fast-growing member-driven venues centered on innovation and community. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the person in this position will oversee daily food and beverage services across multiple outlets, including the Atrium Kafe, lounge service, private event catering, and the signature Wine Kollektiv monthly series that highlights expertly curated wine experiences.
The Food & Beverage Manager will lead and develop a skilled team, foster strong vendor relationships, and manage costs to ensure profitability, while driving a culture of excellence, creativity, and warm hospitality. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, wine, and beverage culture and possess extensive experience in high-level culinary and beverage programming. They will champion operational best practices, help innovate seasonal menu offerings grounded in the club's unique Nordic-California cuisine, and support the execution of private events and membership activations. Job Requirements
- 4+ years of progressive F&B leadership experience in hospitality private clubs restaurants or event-driven venues
- Solid understanding of F&B financials including COGS labor management and cost controls
- Strong culinary sensibility and passion for food wine and beverage culture
- Experience with wine programming beverage curation and event F&B design
- Exceptional people leadership skills
- Highly organized with SOP development experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Experience with premium events private dining or member club operations preferred

Job Duties
- Lead all day-to-day F&B operations across the club including cafe lounge bar and event catering
- Manage mentor and develop a high-performing F&B team aligned with SHACK15's culture and brand standards
- Own hiring scheduling training and performance management for F&B staff
- Maintain SOPs service standards and staff accountability systems in coordination with operations leadership
- Partner with the Executive Chef to develop and evolve menus rooted in Nordic-California principles
- Oversee beverage programming including cocktail menus wine curation and the Wine Kollektiv event series
- Drive seasonal provenance-driven menu updates and ensure alignment with brand pillars
- Collaborate with culinary partners and guest chefs on elevated programming and special events
- Support F&B financial performance including revenue COGS labor and contribution targets
- Assist in developing pricing strategies package tiers and bar program frameworks that optimize profitability
- Work with finance and operations leadership to produce accurate reporting and cost variance analysis
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue across events membership activations and catering
- Lead F&B execution for private events member programming and community activations
- Partner with the events team to develop compelling F&B add-on packages and bar tier offerings
- Serve as a hospitality ambassador engaging directly with members and guests to ensure exceptional experiences
- Support the development of signature culinary programming tied to SHACK15's brand and community mission
