The role being offered is that of an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage. This exempt position plays a vital part in the management and daily operations across multiple casual dining venues. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of service, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the development of staff. This leadership position demands extensive food and beverage knowledge in both front and back of house operations and includes overseeing day-to-day restaurant activities such as inventory management, budgeting, staff scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must collaborate closely with the marketing team to contribute to promotional campaigns and special events. They must also address guest feedback promptly to ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons. Job Requirements

  • Must have extensive food and beverage knowledge in both the front and back of house operations
  • Prefer 5 years experience in a management position in a high volume, restaurant operation
  • Must have previous management experience in a restaurant or food environment
  • Must have leadership experience with groups of diverse people of varying skills, educational levels, cultural backgrounds, and experience
  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada health card
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada TAM card
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada gaming registration card
  • The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required

Job Duties

  • Assist the director of food and beverage in overseeing daily operations of multiple restaurants, ensuring exceptional service and quality
  • Support restaurant managers in implementing operational standards, staff training, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs
  • Participate in weekly inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels of food and supplies, ensuring efficient restaurant operations
  • Help manage food and beverage budgets, analyze financial reports, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Address guest feedback and service issues promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help develop promotional campaigns and special events
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all restaurants
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging employee engagement and growth
  • Assist in scheduling staff and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs, as necessary
