As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Seattle, you will step into an entry-level management role pivotal to the smooth operation and success of the food and beverage department. You will assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the hotel's diverse Food and Beverage Outlets, working closely with key leadership including the Director and Assistant Director of Operations. This role demands a proactive, hands-on leader who can drive the team towards achieving impeccable guest service and high colleague satisfaction. Responsibilities include short- and long-term planning for the outlets, recruiting, training, and developing staff, and leading by example to maintain a positive, energetic professional atmosphere. In addition, you will manage special events and holiday functions, ensuring that all operations run effectively even as a free-standing entity when necessary. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,169 to $86,600, with individual compensation based on experience, education, and qualifications. Job Requirements

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years as F&B leader preferred
  • Wine and beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Supporting and managing food and beverage outlets while working closely with the F&B leaders
  • Responsible for short and long term planning of the outlets
  • Ensure effective hiring, training, development and promotion of team
  • Lead and coach team towards achieving exceptional guest services and colleague satisfaction results
  • Maintain a high energy, positive, professional appearance
  • Plan, coordinate and manage special events and holiday functions
  • Ability to take the initiative to run the outlets as a free standing entity
