The role of Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Aria Resort & Casino is a key leadership position within MGM Resorts International. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department in one of the most prestigious resorts in Las Vegas. As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, guest service, and operational excellence. This leadership role requires managing and mentoring a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving continuous improvements in housekeeping processes. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper works closely with the Executive Housekeeper and other departmental leaders to implement strategic initiatives that align with the property’s vision for exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include managing human resource functions such as recruitment and performance management, fostering a team-oriented culture, and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant housekeeping or EVS experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a union (bargaining unit) property
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Availability to perform daily room inspections
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Housekeeping or Environmental Services
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in a unionized property
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee assigned operational functions in alignment with strategic plans
- Ensure consistent delivery of guest service standards within Housekeeping
- Lead research and implementation of new products and technologies
- Manage Human Resources responsibilities including recruitment and performance management
- Mentor and coach Housekeeping Floor Managers
- Assume Executive Housekeeper duties in their absence
- Conduct room inspections and ensure quality standards are met
