The current opportunity is for the position of Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition, specifically focusing on the role of Assistant Food Service Director for the commissary division. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the daily operations of K-12 school cafeterias and works closely with the Food Service Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing essential functions such as menu development aligned with USDA and state guidelines, ensuring cost and inventory controls, and supervising cafeteria staff. This position offers a highly desirable work-life balance with no night shifts, weekends, or holiday work, operating Monday through Friday during daylight hours. The Assistant Director will be expected to maintain accurate accounting practices and serve as a key communicator with district officials to ensure compliance and smooth operations.   • 1-2 years of staff management experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
