The Assistant Director of Events and Catering at Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the hotel's catering and event sales operations. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of event management experience at a full-service property
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as an event manager at a full-service property (400+ rooms, 25,000+ sq. ft. meeting space)
- Marriott CI/TY experience preferred
- Previous experience in the Orlando market a plus
- Strong organizational, financial, communication, and leadership skills
