Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 7 years’ experience in catering management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- 4 years’ experience in catering management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and forecasts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 7 years’ experience in catering management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 4 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in managing budgets and business plans
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of event planning and execution
Job Duties
- Directs and manages all catering department functions including sales and executive meetings
- Oversees daily activities and performance of Executive Meeting Services and Catering Management teams
- Assists in preparing catering department budget and revenue forecasts
- Plans and executes complex group events
- Verifies client specifications and contract obligations are communicated and executed
- Oversees Banquet Event Order distribution process and change logs
- Assigns groups to Catering and Executive Meeting Managers
