Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 7 years’ experience in catering management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • 4 years’ experience in catering management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and forecasts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 7 years’ experience in catering management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in managing budgets and business plans
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of event planning and execution

Job Duties

  • Directs and manages all catering department functions including sales and executive meetings
  • Oversees daily activities and performance of Executive Meeting Services and Catering Management teams
  • Assists in preparing catering department budget and revenue forecasts
  • Plans and executes complex group events
  • Verifies client specifications and contract obligations are communicated and executed
  • Oversees Banquet Event Order distribution process and change logs
  • Assigns groups to Catering and Executive Meeting Managers
