The Assistant Director of Dining Services position at Abilene Christian University offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of a vibrant dining program in a strong community setting. Job Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant food service management experience
- Experience in food service operations such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, or health care
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
- Financial experience and good business acumen
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office suite
- Associate’s degree preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of food service management experience
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Financial experience and business acumen skills
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- Associate’s degree is preferred
Job Duties
- Work with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food
- Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams
- Maintain excellent relationships with the client
- Manage, train, and develop associates
- Perform other duties as assigned
