Job Duties

  • Assists in preparation, cooking, and serving of food
  • checks and controls the proper storage of products, especially fresh produce, ensuring quality and reducing waste
  • keeps refrigeration, storage, and working areas clean and in compliance with regulations
  • inspects and selects fresh ingredients for menu items
  • performs general cleaning tasks adhering to health standards
  • maintains safe floor conditions to avoid accidents
  • assists kitchen personnel in operating various kitchen stations
  • works closely with front of house staff, kitchen personnel, and stewards
  • performs duties at different stations such as carving, grilling, action stations, and plating
