Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in large quantity food service
- Must possess a good driving record and valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Must be able to read and interpret directions on packages and labels
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic for recipe adjustment and accurate record keeping
- Must be able to work under pressure to complete assigned duties according to a rigid time schedule
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions
- Must be able to plan and perform daily activities in an accurate and timely manner
- Must demonstrate a pleasant customer-oriented attitude to patients and staff
- Must be able to work well with others as part of a team
- Must observe confidentiality regarding patient information
- Must keep accurate records and participate in yield studies and new product evaluation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in large quantity food service
- Ability to read and interpret directions on packages and labels
- Basic arithmetic skills for recipe adjustments and record keeping
- Ability to work under pressure and complete duties on a rigid schedule
- Pleasant, customer-oriented attitude

- Formal training through food service courses preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare large quantity breakfast items for patients and personnel
- Assist in preparation of vegetables, basic sauces, salads, and soups
- Handle bakery items ready to bake or prepared from simple mixes
- Assist in production of homemade soups, roast meats, entrees, casseroles, sauces, gravies, and baked items under supervision
- Follow sanitation and food safety standards
- Operate food service equipment properly
- Adjust recipe quantities based on production orders
