Established over 100 years ago as a family-owned company, Delaware North has grown into a global legacy dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering employee development and growth. The company prides itself on its commitment to inclusiveness, innovation, and operational excellence, providing its team members with unique career opportunities across different industries such as restaurants, hotels, gaming, retail, and sports. At Delaware North, employees are not just part of a workforce; they belong to a passionate team that shapes the future of hospitality in iconic locations.

The Assistant Concessions Manager role is available at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, the home stadium of Major League Baseball's Cleveland Guardians. This role is integral to the operations at Progressive Field, a 35,041-seat venue where Delaware North has managed concessions and premium dining since 1994. As an Assistant Concessions Manager, you will collaborate directly with the Concessions Manager to oversee daily operations across all concession locations to ensure efficient, safe, and guest-focused service. The position demands leadership and management capabilities, including team development, staffing coordination, and strong operational oversight. This role is ideal for motivated professionals with a passion for delivering outstanding service and creating a positive environment for both guests and staff.

The anticipated salary range for this full-time role is $43,888 to $54,100 annually, with additional incentives through an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based uncapped sales incentive. Alongside a competitive salary, Delaware North offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' personal and professional journeys. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive discounts among many others.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations, managing payroll and financial protocols, and driving team engagement through effective hiring, training, and communication. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of one year of supervisory or managerial experience in the food service industry, preferably with concessions background, and has or can obtain industry certifications such as ServSafe and Food Safety Handler. Proficient computer skills and the ability to manage a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and events are essential. As a part of Delaware North, you will join a diverse workforce that values inclusion and equal employment opportunities, supported by a company culture that emphasizes career growth and a love for where you work.
