Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or greater in Culinary Management Business Management or related field
  • 2-4 years experience in related field
  • Experience in concessions management food and beverage management or related experience
  • Four or more years experience may substitute degree requirement
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office POS systems and timekeeping systems
  • Experience training new employees and volunteers
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory procedures and controls
  • Experience ordering product for high-volume venues
  • Ability to communicate clearly professionally and courteously
  • Ability to make sound business and operational decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced event-driven team environments
  • Thorough knowledge of sanitation food preparation alcohol service and safety standards
  • Ability to calculate basic math related to POS cash and credit transactions and inventory
  • Adherence to high standards of integrity professionalism ethics and confidentiality
  • Nationally recognized food service sanitation certification preferred
  • Nationally recognized alcohol service training certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage develop and mentor part time concessions staff including initiating discipline
  • Complete documentation of employee performance and attendance issues
  • Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors including verifying inventory and assigning duties
  • Provide oversight and operational expertise for efficient and profitable event execution
  • Oversee inventory management product ordering and high volume sales
  • Manage concessions operations before during and after events including staff scheduling POS monitoring and guest complaint resolution
  • Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices
  • Cover any open position to ensure full operation and service standards
  • Provide direction and oversight to Concessions Supervisors Stand Managers Cooks and Cashiers
  • Ensure compliance with all state federal and company policies including alcohol and food safety
  • Report compliance issues and complete post-event evaluations and reporting
  • Maintain a safe harassment-free work environment addressing safety concerns and incidents
  • Provide ongoing training mentoring and supervision to promote a positive workplace
  • Obtain working knowledge of concession locations equipment evacuation procedures and access areas
