Their newest location has recently opened inside the main terminal at Spokane International Airport (GEG), featuring handcrafted beverages served via La Marzocco espresso machines and an innovative self-service speed lane. This setting combines quality coffee craftsmanship with efficiency to cater to busy travelers. SSP America is known for its commitment to excellence, career growth opportunities, and fostering dynamic, fast-paced environments that continuously evolve to meet customer demands.

The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at this Spokane International Airport location offers a full-time, hourly position with a salary of $65,000 per year, including eligibility for bonus incentives. This exciting leadership opportunity calls for a hands-on manager who thrives in a vibrant, high-volume restaurant environment. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations on both the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH), ensuring that food quality and sanitation standards are consistently met. By leading from the floor, this individual directly influences team performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key facets of this role include managing labor costs, inventory, and other operational metrics to maximize profitability, as well as training, coaching, and developing team members to maintain high standards and deliver exceptional service. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also supports forecasting, staffing schedules, and overall financial performance. This role requires quick decision making, problem-solving skills, and the composure to lead effectively in a fast-paced airport environment where momentum and customer turnover are high.

For those passionate about food service leadership, coffee culture, and creating experiences that delight customers during their travels, this position represents a unique opportunity to contribute to a well-established hospitality leader. At SSP America, there is an emphasis on balancing hospitality with speed and quality, ensuring the guest experience remains front and center. The company supports its employees through comprehensive benefits, professional growth programs, and a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity. Joining SSP America as an Assistant Restaurant Manager means becoming part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to excellence and innovation in travel hospitality.
