This full-time position, with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour, offers an opportunity to lead several key departments including Recovery, Utility, and Perishables such as Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, and Dairy/Freezer sections. The Assistant Closing Manager works closely with the Closing Manager and acts as the Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, bearing full responsibility for leadership, member engagement, and operational oversight during assigned shifts. This position is essential in ensuring that all club areas are clean, stocked, and ready for the morning open, while upholding BJ's high standards of service and compliance.

Candidates for this role must hold a valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification and, if located in Florida, must obtain a qualifier certification for retail propane oversight. Additionally, a forklift license with annual certification is required, with training costs covered by BJ's. With responsibilities spanning inventory management, member issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives, this position offers a challenging and rewarding career path for leaders passionate about retail operations and team development. BJ's Wholesale Club is committed to supporting its leaders with the tools, training, and resources necessary to succeed and grow within the company.
