Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- three years of related experience
- ability to perform advanced clerical and administrative tasks
- ability to lead and assign work to clerical staff
- ability to schedule court hearings and manage case filings accurately
- proficiency in processing payments and balancing financial records
- ability to prepare financial reports and budgets
- effective communication skills
- capability to use computer software and office equipment
- physical ability to perform primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting not exceeding 20 pounds

- knowledge of state and federal laws
- knowledge of judicial, jail, and court system

- proficiency in computers and related software applications

Job Duties
- Performs advanced office and administrative tasks in support of court operations
- serves as a lead to assigned clerical staff including assigning and monitoring work and providing direction
- schedules hearings with attorneys and other agencies
- enters new case filings
- prepares and records paperwork
- prepares and distributes docket for court sessions
- ensures completeness and accuracy of information and maintains related records
- prepares, reconciles and ensures accuracy of specialized financial reports, invoices and budgets
- processes payments including fines and fees and balances daily deposits
- creates and prepares reports, spreadsheets and other documents using established templates or original formats
- performs other duties of a similar nature or level
