Job Requirements
- Valid health card
- Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain and maintain required licensing
- Minimum of 3 years culinary management experience
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
- Must be able to exhibit accurate knife skills
- Must be able to manage all aspects of kitchen operations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years culinary management experience in a similar role
- Ability to communicate, read, and write English fluently
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- Accurate knife skills and kitchen operation management
- Ability to perform high quality job standards with attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work well under pressure and resolve problems effectively
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Creative and artistic approach to plate presentations
- Ability to lead and direct staff
- Team player willing to assist all phases of operation
- Knowledge of union environment preferred
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Support culinary management in cost control and inventory management
- Manage and train kitchen staff including chef de parties and cooks
- Supervise food production at all stations ensuring compliance with outlet standards
- Ensure compliance with government health regulations, industrial safety standards, and corporate policies
- Monitor and improve food quality consistency to enhance customer experience
- Maintain consistent Wynn food quality standards
- Lead and mentor team members through coaching and reinforcement
