Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years culinary management experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Manager Certification
  • Valid health card required
  • Fluent in English communication
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and creativity
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to work cooperatively with team

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience in a similar role
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses including Food Manager Certification and valid health card
  • Fluent communication, reading, and writing skills in English
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations effectively
  • High standards of job accuracy, creativity, and speed
  • Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Creative in plate presentation and menu research
  • Leadership and staff management abilities
  • Ability to collaborate and assist in all areas of operation
  • Knowledge of union environments preferred
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Support culinary management in cost control
  • Complete inventories and food requisitions
  • Manage and train kitchen staff
  • Support chef de parties and cooks as needed
  • Supervise food production at all stations ensuring quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with government health regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Maintain Wynn food quality standards
  • Monitor and improve food quality consistency
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe kitchen environment
  • Identify and resolve workplace and environmental safety issues
  • Encourage team participation in decision-making
  • Identify best practices and performance benchmarks
  • Ensure direct reports comply with company policies
  • Lead team by defining roles and responsibilities
  • Maintain Wynn core values
  • Mentor staff through coaching and positive reinforcement
