Job Requirements
- Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two or more years of experience in a similar role
- excellent customer service skills
- food Handler's Certificate within 30 days of hire
- ServSafe certification within 30 days if not already certified
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong leadership and team motivation abilities
Job Duties
- Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the head chef
- oversee the preparation and presentation of food items to ensure adherence to standards
- organize and maintain kitchen stock and ingredients
- ensure proper food rotation and quality assurance through first in, first out system
- keep cooking stations stocked during peak hours
- hire and train new kitchen employees
- manage food and product ordering while minimizing waste
- supervise overall food preparation and presentation
- collaborate with head chef on kitchen organization, staff ability, and training
- verify that food storage units meet all health and safety standards
