Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum 2 years culinary experience
  • knowledge of ServSafe or similar food safety standards
  • understanding of HACCP procedures
  • proficiency with kitchen equipment
  • capability to train and work with students and staff
  • ability to lift 50 lbs
  • successful background check completion

  • skilled in recipe and menu creation

  • preferred 2-4 years culinary experience
  • minimum 6 months supervisory experience
  • familiarity with Jamix software
  • experience in catering or fast casual or cafeteria dining
  • ServeSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods in support of dining operations
  • manage all stations within food service operation
  • ensure timely and fresh food presentation
  • assist with special functions and events
  • act as primary culinary manager in absence of Unit Chef
  • train and work with students and regular employees
  • support high-volume kitchen activities
