Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from accredited university
- minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- or 3 years experience in two hospitality areas if no standard education
- ability to lead teams and manage operational duties
- knowledge of OSHA regulations
- strong customer service orientation
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle guest complaints and feedback
- capability to schedule staff effectively
- able to maintain high work standards and ensure brand compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related field
- minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, and problem solving preferred
- strong hospitality skills
- ability to lead teams and manage event operations
- excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Communicates service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions
- totals charges for group functions and prepares and presents checks to group contacts
- verifies banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service
- inspects cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver
- sets tables according to event and service standards
- leads shift teams and coordinates daily stand-up, pre-shift, and post-meal meetings
- handles guest feedback and resolves complaints
- manages departmental inventories and orders supplies
- schedules banquet and event service staff to meet service standards
- practices and enforces brand standards and legal compliance
