- Must be able to bake various baked goods (Mexican, Central American, and American)
- must be able to perform mathematical operations related to job functions
- must enjoy working with the public
- must have good communication skills
- must be self-motivated
- must have a friendly, courteous attitude, and provide extraordinary customer service
- must exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job, co-workers, and customers
- must have a positive attitude towards safety, and be committed to follow all health and safety regulations and/or policies
- must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- must be able to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store
- ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- at least 3 years of baking experience or 1 year of management experience
- basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- experience with standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines
- skills in various baking techniques including Mexican, Central American, and American baked goods
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- self-motivated with a positive and courteous attitude
- knowledge of health and safety regulations related to bakery operations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- willingness to transfer to other store locations within reasonable commuting distance
- physical capability to perform job duties
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in planning and managing bakery operations
- merchandise products effectively and maintain freshness
- rotate and replenish bakery displays
- ensure proper storage and temperature compliance per health regulations
- prepare and bake products consistent with company quality standards
- greet customers with a friendly attitude while delivering exceptional customer service
- respond to customer inquiries and requests
- maintain a positive, professional work environment
- comply with safety and health policies
- work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- assist with training and supervising bakery staff
