As an Assistant Baker, you will play a vital role in supporting our baking team to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the kitchen. You will assist the head baker in the preparation of doughs, batters, fillings, and frostings according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality at every step. Your responsibilities will include mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies, utilizing baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers.
In addition to your baking duties, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards is critical. You will be expected to keep your workstation clean, organized, and sanitary, follow all relevant food safety regulations, and ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of ingredients and finished products. Keeping the inventory accurate by assisting with receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries and monitoring stock levels to communicate supply needs is also part of your role. Our Assistant Baker supports minimizing waste through careful portioning and ingredient use while collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals.

Early morning shifts, weekend, and holiday work are needed, reflecting the bakery's commitment to serving customers at peak times and during special events.
