The Assistant Athletics Director for Events, Operations, and Championships is a critical position within the Athletics Department at CSULB. This full-time, temporary role entails overseeing all aspects of athletic events, facility rentals, and campus programming. Job Requirements
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in related field
- At least four years of related work experience
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledgeable in EMS or equivalent software
- Ability to manage budgets and event scheduling
- Comfortable performing heavy work including lifting over 40 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
- Four years of related experience
- Previous experience in athletics event or facility operations
- Knowledge of EMS or equivalent scheduling software
- Supervisory experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Develop and maintain client relationships to generate revenue
- Evaluate user needs and rental requests to determine event feasibility
- Manage event and facility operations including EMS scheduling
- Oversee accounting and budgeting for rental activities
- Administer the University EMS scheduling system
- Ensure facility maintenance and readiness
- Coordinate with campus groups and athletics for event support
