The Production Operator - Assembly role at Korry Electronics is a vital position within the company's manufacturing and production operations. Responsible for constructing a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and components tailored for aerospace applications, this role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and team-focused. The operator will engage in a range of complex technical tasks including assembly, detailed troubleshooting, and quality audits on electrical components. This position operates primarily on the second shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, with an initial two-week training period on the first shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, allowing ample time for skill acquisition under supervisory guidance.
The role demands strict adherence to production standards, quality control, and calibration of assembly and inspection tools ensuring they meet stringent aerospace industry requirements. Candidates will work closely from engineering and quality drawings, adhering to detailed specifications and test procedures while maintaining lot traceability and inventory management practices. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year related industry experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and lighting standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings in English

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Build assemblies as directed by supervisor or team lead in conformance to drawing and quality standards while adhering to documented production time standards if applicable
- Adhere to lot traceability and general inventory practices
- Work from engineering or quality drawings, specifications, standards, test procedures, and verbal instructions to determine product or procedure acceptance
- Validate that build and inspection equipment is calibrated and/or qualified as fit-for-use
- Perform self-audits of workstation or as directed to ensure compliance to system and specification requirements
- Take initiative to define and recommend improvement opportunities
- Recognize deviations from standard drawings/practices
- Perform assembly tasks including soldering, crimping, wire harnessing, basic testing, and visual inspection
